Meet Our Dog Trainer

Mariah Prudhume has been in the animal care industry for over seven years with a passion for animals. She received her dog training certification through Victoria Stilwell Academy and is Fear Free certified through UC Davis Koret Shelter Medicine Program. She has utilized enrichment tools and her training to help shelter dogs learn basic obedience and correct typically unwanted behaviors, setting them up for success in their new homes. More examples of other dogs she has helped can be found HERE. Through the use of positive training, enrichment, and non-aversive tools, she has assisted Valley Animal Center adopters and dog park members with their canine companions.
