How do I adopt a dog/puppy?

To adopt a dog or puppy from Valley Animal Center, you may:

• Visit our dogs in person and fill out an application OR
• View our adoptable dogs online* and fill out an online application

After an application is submitted, either in person or online, a dog care staff will inform you of your application status. Same day adoptions are possible!

Submitting an application does not guarantee the application will be approved by Valley Animal Center. The application will be thoroughly reviewed prior to the applicant being informed of their application status. Valley Animal Center animal care staff reserves the right of final approval for any applicant or application.

If you own any dogs when you adopt from us, our adoption process requires you and your current dogs to do a meet and greet at our location.

*We are always in the process of posting online profiles of the dogs we currently have ready for adoption but we encourage you to come down to visit our shelter in order to see ALL of our adoptable dogs

PUPPY ADOPTION FEE: $200 | DOG ADOPTION FEE: $180

The adoption fee includes:

• Spay/neuter
• DA2PPv
• Depending on age: Rabies, Bordetella, Canine Influenza, and Leptospirosis vaccinations
• De-worm
• Flea treatments
• Microchip ID**
• 1 dry bath
• 1 bandana
