How do I adopt a cat/kitten?

To adopt a cat or kitten from Valley Animal Center, you may:

  • Visit our cats in person and fill out an application OR
  • View our adoptable cats online* and fill out an online application

After an application is submitted, either in person or online, a cat care staff will inform you of your application status. Same day adoptions are possible!

Submitting an application does not guarantee the application will be approved by Valley Animal Center. The application will be thoroughly reviewed prior to the applicant being informed of their application status. Valley Animal Center animal care staff reserves the right of final approval for any applicant or application.

*We are always in the process of posting online profiles of all the cats we currently have ready for adoption but we encourage you to come down to visit our shelter in order to see ALL of our adoptable cats.

Are you interested in a kitten but don’t see any kittens online?

Our kittens sometimes get adopted before we even have the chance to post their online profiles! If you are looking to adopt a kitty, please follow our Facebook or Instagram stories for notices. You may also call or visit our cat adoption center!
