Our cat and dog adoption centers open daily from 10 AM - 4:30 PM

Ready to adopt? We thank you so much for wanting to be a furever home to one (or more!) of our shelter animals!

All potential adopters are required to fill out an adoption application. You may fill out this application online, or in person. Your application will be reviewed by an animal care associate prior to a meet-and-greet and adoption.

To speed up the process, you are welcome to follow the links below where you'll be redirected to view the dogs and cats we have available for adoption. When you find an animal you're interested in, please submit your application online, or email your completed adoption application to the appropriate department: [email protected] or [email protected]

You are more than welcome to come multiple times to visit the animal you are interested in! In fact, we encourage multiple meet-and-greets so that you are comfortable and sure with your decision! If at any time you have questions about the adoption, please don't hesitate to ask! If you are also wonder which animal would best suit your lifestyle or living situation, please let us know as well. Our animal care associates want to match you with the best possible animal!

We recommend coming down to visit our shelter in order to see ALL of our adoptable animals. We are currently behind in posting online profiles of all the animals we currently have in our adoption facilities and apologize for this inconvenience!

If you are interested in adopting a dog/puppy and you currently have dogs of your own, we require you to bring your dogs with you to meet the new addition before the adoption is approved. This requirement is for the safety of your dogs as well your potential new adoptee. We want to make sure the dogs are compatible and familiarize with one another prior to adoption.

At your visitation, you may enter our kennel area to view the adoptable dogs. If you find a dog you would like to have more personal time with, let an animal care associate know and they will escort you to our private meet-and-greet room. This room will allow you, your dog(s), and the dog you're interested in to get to know each other. Please make sure your dog(s) have secure leashes attached to their harnesses, per our policy.

Please feel free to bring a leash of your own for your new addition. Otherwise, we provide a standard nylon leash for free.

*Do be aware that our dogs get VERY excited when someone enters the adoption center. You will hear a LOT of barking and it may feel overwhelming! We ask for you understanding and patience. Our dogs are just happy to see you!

The $180 dog/puppy adoption fee includes:

  • Spay/neuter
  • DA2PPv
  • Depending on age: Rabies, Bordetella, Canine Influenza, and Leptospirosis vaccinations
  • De-worm
  • Flea treatments
  • Microchip ID*

If you are interested in adopting a cat or kitten, we encourage you to bring a carrier with you on your visit for your new addition. If you do not have one, you may purchase a cardboard carrier at our adoption center for $7.

Upon walking into our Cat Adoption Center, you will notice our cats/kittens are divided into different rooms. We have kittens, senior cats, FIV+cats, and there will also be cats that are not yet ready for adoption. Don't hesitate to ask us any questions you may have about ANY of our cats. When you find a cat/kitten you are interested in, let an associate know so they can let you into the room to spend more personal time with the cat/kitty!

*Do be aware that some of our cats are more skittish or can be temperamental. Cats, by nature, are habitual creatures so seeing a new person may cause some to shy away or swat at you if you get too close. It's not an aggressive attack on you by any means! It may simply mean the cat is currently in a defensive mode. We ask for your understanding and patience. All of our cats have their own charms once you get to know them more!

The $90 cat adoption fee includes:

  • Spay/neuter
  • Depending on age: Leukemia & Rabies vaccinations
  • De-worm
  • Flea treatments
  • Microchip ID*

*Every animal you adopt from Valley Animal Center will have a microchip ID. However, it is your responsibility to register the microchip ID as soon as possible. Otherwise, if your pet gets lost, the microchip ID will not have your contact information. Click on the button below to register your microchip ID today!
