WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

All potential adopters are required to fill out a pre-adoption application, which will be reviewed by an animal care associate prior to a meet-and-greet and adoption. To speed up the process, you are welcome to follow the links below where you'll be redirected to view the dogs and cats we have available for adoption. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING A DOG OR PUPPY?

If you are interested in adopting a dog and have dogs of your own, we require you to bring your dogs with you to meet the new addition before the adoption is approved.

At your visitation, an animal care associate will escort you to our private meet-and-greet room. This room will allow you, your dog(s), and the dog you're interested in to get to know each other. Please make sure your dog(s) have secure leashes attached to their harnesses, per our policy.

Please feel free to bring a leash of your own for your new addition. Otherwise, we provide a standard nylon leash for free.

DOG/PUPPY ADOPTION FEE: $180

The $180 dog/puppy adoption fee includes:

  • Spay/neuter
  • DA2PPv
  • Rabies & Bordetella vaccinations (depending on age)
  • De-worm
  • Flea treatments
  • Microchip ID*

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING A CAT OR KITTEN?

If you are interested in adopting a cat or kitten, we encourage you to bring a carrier with you on your visit for your new addition. If you do not have one, you may purchase a cardboard carrier at our adoption center for $7.

At your visitation, please ring the bell located at the cat adoption center double doors and an associate will walk out to greet you. Please note that all of our rooms are currently locked due to precautionary measures we are taking.

CAT/KITTEN ADOPTION FEE: $90

The $90 cat adoption fee includes:

  • Spay/neuter
  • FVRCP
  • Leukemia & Rabies vaccinations (depending on age)
  • De-worm
  • Flea treatments
  • Microchip ID*

*Every animal you adopt from Valley Animal Center will have a microchip ID. However, it is your responsibility to register the microchip ID as soon as possible. Otherwise, if your pet gets lost, the microchip ID will not have your contact information. Click on the button below to register your microchip ID today!
