ABOUT JENNIE
Jennie has always loved animals since she was a toddler. Her first pet as a child was a cat, which probably explains her passion for cats. She was a country girl and throughout her childhood she was always surrounded by cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, chickens, and ducks.
In between jobs but always wanting to volunteer, Jennie started out as a volunteer back in July of 2020. After eight months of volunteer work, she became a member of the Valley Animal Center staff and is happy to say "I love my job."
Currently, she owns 2 dogs and six cats, two of which she just recently adopted from a litter of five kittens she was fostering.
In her spare time, she enjoys day trips to the coast, wine tasting with friends, gardening, swimming and reading. Most of all, she enjoys hanging out with all her beautiful pets.
