Owner Surrender

I am one of the Valley Animal Center’s declawed cat population, and, like many declawed cats, I suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). I was surrendered to the shelter (and also later adopted and returned) because I was not using my litterbox. This is common among declawed cats, as using the litterbox hurts our feet! Many people think that declawing a cat is just the removal of the fingernail, but it actually cuts off the last joint of the finger. Thankfully, I have been adopted again by a wonderful family. Please learn from my story, and do not declaw your cats!

I was adopted, but you can sponsor one of my friends who are still at the shelter!
