Every year, we welcome into our care hundreds of dogs and cats who are rescued from local animal control agencies or surrendered by their owners. During kitten season, we also work to save the lives of hundreds of innocent kittens. Pennies for Pets is our largest annual fundraising campaign. It occurs every March and helps us lay the foundation for the impact we can have on our community.

Our paper pennies honor one of our recently deceased residents, Scrappy, and bear the image of his paw imprinted on them. Scrappy was an adorable wire-haired terrier mix. Sadly, he was overcome by his health complications. He was born with neurological issues that affected his mobility. He had been in our care since 2022 and struggled to find a home due to his health.
Scrappy had beautiful hazel eyes that would make you instantly fall in love with him. He was deeply loved for his gentle gaze, and your donation in his memory would be deeply appreciated.
