Our low-cost clinic is ready to serve you and your pet.

We offer a variety of services such as vaccinations and preventative care. We also conduct wellness exams to check up on concerns you may have about your pet.

Beginning February 2023, our surgery annex will focus on the backlog of animals awaiting spay and neuter at Fresno Animal Center and it will dedicate two days each week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, to those animals. This effort is made possible through a partnership with the City of Fresno and Fresno Humane Animal Services. Both entities will fill every spot available during those days and anticipate completing between 15 and 25 canine and feline spays and neuters.

At least 25% of those slots will be open to qualified City of Fresno residents, which means any member of the public who seeks spay and neuter services will be asked to contact Fresno Animal Center at (559) 621-7387 or by visiting their website at fresnohumane.org.

Eligibility requirements include being a City of Fresno resident, meeting low-income requirements, participating in PG&E's CARE Program, and receiving Fresno County Human Services Programs, according to the City of Fresno.

We still welcome you to look to our low-cost clinic for other services, such as wellness exams and walk-in vaccinations.

With this new partnership, we will no longer offer feral spay and neuter services. We are happy to share we partner with local animal advocate Brandi Sherman, CEO of Fresno TNR. Brandi assists community members in trapping ferals and she brings them to our surgery annex for spay and neuter services. In this way, we remain committed to helping reduce the feral over-population. For feral spay and neuter services, please call Brandi at (559) 999-1833. Please understand that Brandi may see an increase of incoming calls. We ask that you remain patient with her and understand we are trying to work together to assist you.

VACCINATIONS

Our vaccinations for both cats and dogs are available on a walk-in basis during surgery annex's normal operating hours, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Our clinic hours are as follows:

 

Monday - Friday:
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
1:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Effective January 1st, 2022 our clinic will be CLOSED on Saturdays.

Please note that all dogs, no matter the size, must be on leashes and all cats must be in carriers while visiting our clinic. No crates, of any kind, will be accepted. This will ensure your pet is safe while at our clinic.

Cats

Cats are often perceived as independent, but they require preventative care as much as dogs. Valley Animal Center prides itself on being able to meet the needs of all the fabulous felines of the community! Please see below for a list of services for your furry friend.

This is an overall checkup of your pet's health. Any follow-up treatments after the health & physical exam will be additionally charged according to the treatment.

Microchipping $25

Microchips used by our clinic are from FoundAnimals. This company has NO ADDITIONAL FEES to maintain the pet owner's contact information.

Dogs

Loving our dogs includes meeting their needs. We will help your dog receive the care and services necessary to keep them as healthy as possible! Please see below for services provided.

Flea/Tick Treatments $12-$24

All puppies must be at least eight weeks old and weigh four pounds to receive flea or tick medication.
